Spectrum was zero help and claimed it wasn't their issue. We retained all older modems from that point on and wouldn't let them swap out. The solution was unfortunately to set up a VPN and later SDWan and route voice traffic over that. *Edit - we told spectrum to look into the issue or lose a customer long term but they didn't seem to care.
