I just tested out your presets, the issue isn't the resolution that you are working in. It looks like you had the entire layer selected when you created each preset (with the exception of the 'Bouncy Animation' preset), which results in all the text settings changing to the settings of the original text layer (including the text itself, '4G Media' in this case).

decent gpu preferably with atleast 6gb VRAM (AE not as dependent on the gpu as cpu but don’t skimp out on it either) -RAM is very important, I’d say atleast 32 GB especially when using flashy effects in AMV editing. 16 GB is the minimum recommended by Adobe but many of the plugins like twixtor, sapphire, magic bullet,etc. are very taxing.
